Wallet
The Wallet app, in my opinion, has the most pleasant interface among all competitors. The main page has many useful widgets, such as the expense structure, recent expenses, planned payments. There is a graph that shows how quickly money is spent.
In order to control expenses, you can create a one-time budget for special occasions, such as New Year, vacation or renovation. If some event occurs regularly, you can create a separate recurring budget for it.
You can set a budget for a specific category or subcategory, for a month, week or year. Of course, you can set goals and make a shopping list. And also introduce debt accounting for both those where you borrowed money and those when you lent money to someone.
Reports can be exported to CSV, Excel and PDF for free. Exchange rates can be viewed (up to 3 pairs). Balance adjustments are available. A paid subscription for 129 rubles per month provides access to an unlimited number of accounts, collaboration between multiple users and advanced reports.
Cons: payment recipients are not remembered, each time you will need to write the name of the recipient, even if he has already been added for other entries; synchronization with banks, although declared, does not include a single Russian bank.
Version for Android / iPhone / Web.
Monefy
The main page of the application clearly shows what categories of expenses the budget is spent on. Statistics are available for a day, week, month, year, selected date or specified period.
Since all categories are already displayed on the main page, this allows you to quickly add a new expense to the desired category. Just click on it and indicate the amount spent. With a small number of expense categories, this is the most convenient way to track expenses. But for those who like deep analytics, this application is not suitable, since it does not have subcategories. For more information, you can add a text description so that you can later find the entry using the built-in search.
The free version has 15 categories and at least 5 additional accounts. In the paid version for 169 rubles per year, you can create additional ones. If necessary, you can change the main currency, but working with several currencies at once is also only available in the paid version. In which, there will also be synchronization via Dropbox and Google Drive.
There is a monthly budget mode. Data export is available only in CSV format.
1Money
The design of the application is similar to Monefy. In a separate tab, you can quickly view expenses and income for the last day. In the free version, you cannot create new level 1 categories, but you can create subcategories for existing ones.
Creating new categories, goals and accounts is only available with a paid subscription for 79 rubles per month. After payment, the ability to synchronize data between devices appears, advertising is removed and data export to a CSV file becomes available.
The main currency can be chosen from a large number of options, there are even cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero and others. And also precious metals: gold, palladium, platinum and silver.
Version for Android.
Money Lover
Money Lover has a minimalist design. On the main page there is a graph with a report on the amount spent per week and per month. Just below are displayed the top categories by expenses and recent transactions, and that's it. You can't add another widget with the necessary information, as is done in Wallet. This is a minus!
The Operations tab displays standard information about expenses and receipts in recent days. Operations history can be viewed for the current/previous month.
In the Planning section, you can create an event to track expenses on it, for example, on vacation. It is also possible to create recurring transactions that will be automatically added after a specified number of days. In the free version, you can create only one recurring transaction.
There is an export to Excel and CSV format, but it is only available in the premium version for 1190 rubles (one-time payment).
Version for Android / iPhone / Web.
Money Manager
Money Manager doesn't have a lot of charts (in fact, only one), but it does have features that other apps charge money for. For example, it offers free Google Drive backups, and it also exports and imports Excel files. You can also create new income and expense categories for free.
By default, the application uses a simple one-level categorization, if you switch the setting to use subcategories, then the second-level categories will appear. This is useful for those who want to have a more detailed analysis of their expenses. I also liked the calendar, which in a simple format shows how much money was spent on each day of the month.
In the settings you can activate "quick add" via the notification line.
EasyBudget
Easy Budget will appeal to those who love minimalism. It has only two functions: add a periodic expense/income or add a one-time expense. When adding a new entry, in addition to the amount spent, you must add a description.
If you forgot to keep track of a few days, but want to continue again, but with a different budget, then select "Adjust current balance" in the menu item. After that, specify the amount that is in your wallet and the balance will be adjusted. This is a simple, but very useful functionality, which for some reason is not available in all applications.
In the settings, you can choose from a variety of currencies, set a low balance warning threshold. Premium users get the ability to view a monthly report, make automatic backups to the cloud, and receive notifications at the end of the day about the need to make expenses. These are all the possible settings.

AndroMoney
The AndroMoney app will appeal to those who like to calculate their finances as meticulously as possible. When adding an expense, you can specify the category, subcategory, account, project and select the recipient of the money. For such financial geeks, of course, there is the import and export of CSV files.
On the main screen, you will only see a list of recent expenses, without any charts. You can view expenses by day, week, month, year. The most powerful thing in the app is the filter. Entries can be filtered by account, category, subcategory, project, and recipient.
You can set a general budget for the month or for individual categories, and set up a warning when it is exceeded by a specified percentage.
