The multiplication table is the basis for calculations that your child will make in later years of schooling and throughout his or her life. You may not notice it, but you use it too, for example when buying vegetables at the market or calculating the floor area of a new apartment.
We have selected several smartphone trainers that make it easier to memorize the multiplication table. A child can train for 5-15 minutes at a time. Try to do such training at least twice a day. Brain research has proven that new information is remembered much better if it is repeated 4-6 hours after the first memorization.
The main goal is to remember, not to get the answer by counting or any other means. You can easily notice when a child is trying to count, because in this case it takes much longer to get the answer.
Multiplication Table for Children
The name may not be the most exciting, but this app is packed with useful exercises that will help your child improve their multiplication skills through practice.
In the Classroom, children can challenge themselves to solve a wide range of arithmetic problems covering repeated addition, finding the product of two numbers, and inverse operations (for example, division, where the inverse operation for 4x3=12 is 12/3=4).
There are two games in the "Game Room", each of which tests knowledge of the multiplication table. As soon as the child feels that he has learned to multiply a certain number well, he can test his skills in the "Test" section.
Available for Android And iPhone.
Maths Loops Multiply
This simple app is a great way to practice multiplication in a column and carry skills. As you enter the correct answers, the next element in the hidden image will be revealed. After successfully completing the game, the picture will be completely revealed. At simple levels, the player will have to deal with single-digit and double-digit numbers. At difficult levels, the number depth can reach up to six digits.
Before starting the game, you need to select the difficulty level. Then a 3x4 grid appears in front of the child, in each cell of which there is an expression whose value needs to be calculated. The correct answers must either be typed on the on-screen keyboard or drawn with your finger, starting with units, then moving on to tens, hundreds, and so on.

SplashLearn
SplashLearn is a very popular app that allows you to independently improve your arithmetic skills according to the early elementary school curriculum.
At the same time, learning takes place in an exciting, playful form. For example, at the Kindergarten level, the child receives basic ideas about shapes and counting. At the level of complexity corresponding to the 5th grade of a comprehensive school, the student masters multiplication, division, the basics of algebra, and ordinary and decimal fractions.
The app also has features that are worth mentioning separately: virtual awards, a learning progress panel, explanations for incorrect answers. The curriculum ranges from preschool to fifth grade.
